Embassy of Brazil, New Delhi

The Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil has decided to set up a new chancery for the Embassy of Brazil in India. The new chancery is to come up in Chanakyapuri, the prestigious diplomatic enclave of New Delhi, based on the award-winning concept scheme of Arch. Paulo Henrique Paranhos. It is flanked by the Embassy of Denmark on one side and Sanskriti School on the other.
The plot area is 4500 sq.m. and the proposed built-up area is 5630 sq.m. The complex comprises chancery offices, visa & consular sections and multi-purpose hall. The chancery functions – Ambassador’s office, political & defence wings, administrative offices – are on the upper levels, with the entire ground almost left free for public plaza, interjected with multi-purpose hall and consular section. The estimated cost of development is US Dollars 11 million.
