We were shortlisted by IIT Gandhinagar for the design competition of their new Research Park, developed for external stakeholders to partner with IITGN employees for their research facilities. The proposed built-up area was over 10,000 sq.m., for site of 14,000 sq.m. The layout plan was evolved to respect the natural topography and profile of the site, and at the same time, have focal views towards a ravine-valley and Sabarmati river. The design proposed a green campus with provisions to reduce energy demand and enhance comfort. Green building measures include reduction of solar gain, natural lighting, use of solar energy, water conservation & recycling, clean air, etc.
