We were shortlisted by Government of Jharkhand for the design competition of its new State House in the Connaught Place area of New Delhi. The various components of the complex include suites for the Hon’ble State Governor, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Chief Secretary, Chief Justice, other guest rooms, conference and meeting room, dining hall, besides administrative offices, having a total built-up area of 6600 sq.m. The design is based on a modular grid allowing economy in structure as well as flexibility in planning. Considering the limited plot area, and in order to not compromise on landscaped area, automated multi-level parking under ground was suggested. The external finish of the complex has been proposed so as to convey the modern & progressive aspirations of a developing state.
